日本は去年4月からの消費税増税によって引き起こされた景気後退から息を吹き返しつつあり、今年は景気回復のトレンドに戻るだろう。それにも関わらず日本の内需の弱さは懸念材料である。デフレ脱却を狙った大規模な金融緩和を行っているが、短期間の財政赤字削減に拘る事は経済成長の重しになる。
