@Ikentrade1 @paxtrader777 IB is Initial Balance. The first hour of regular trading. from there we get our high, IBH; and low IBL. Also can get the 50% pf the IB. Many systems use the IB as an edge to open a position

#FT71 As you may/may not know there is only a 3% probability that we get a Normal Day Type, and the Initial Balance (1st hour) is not exceed. That leaves a 97% probability that it will be. Today's Initial Balance has not been yet, to this point. #ES_F PS IB high 2812.75

@Gantee2003 The 1st hour of trade is called the Initial Balance. When the 1st hour completes the Initial Balance Range is in. When it breaks and the range is small it should get immediate extension. Instead we got a low volume extension with a buying tail.

@gambotage The IB is short for the Initial Balance which is the first 60 minutes of trade. I use the first 30 minutes since it typically has the widest range and the highest volume of the day. Also if I remember correctly it sets the high or low of the day over 75% of the time. ATR, yes

#ES_F IB (Initial balance/1st hour) is in. If the high or low is not taken out we would have a Normal day type. Probability of a Normal day is 3%. I going with the high. Why? Because I think it will be the low. Costanzatrading.com
