Firstly the 'low hanging fruit'. Against ANY Pick and Roll coverage, you should always look to refuse the screen first. Here's an example of @JerusalemBasket 's @KiNGJF4 refusing the PNR vs Drop coverage. pic.twitter.com/nG6cbmsLUq

When setting the screen vs 'Drop' we want our screeners to "Hit & Hold". Get great contact on the low side of on ball defender so that he has to make a decision whether to chase or go under. Once contact is made, HOLD screen & create a 'space' advantage for PNR Creator to shoot. pic.twitter.com/gBJwF4cBNJ

If you have an elite shooter off the bounce, like @AnadoluEfesSK's @ShaneLarkin_3, set the PNR at the 4pt line so that the creator can dribble into a shot on the 3pt line. Notice the quality contact Pleiss gets as the screener which creates that 'space' advantage for Larkin. pic.twitter.com/QBz7lY7lC3

Speaking of elite shooters off the bounce, check out @JerusalemBasket's Timor Blatt. In this clip the on ball defender screen goes underneath the screen and screener's D is in 'drop'. Screener rolls the on ball defender down and create an even bigger 'space' advantage for a 3pt. pic.twitter.com/yK8QcxeZ1F

If your team has a 'rolling' big its still possible to hurt the 'drop'. Again they must "Hit & Hold", but when they roll we want them to keep space between them & creator so the Drop D has to guard one or the other. You can also change the location on the court where the PNR occurs to attack the 'drop'. Low empty corner PNRs hurt the drop as their are no defenders behind the screener's defender to help or tag. If screener gets great contact once again, its a 2v1 vs Drop Defender. pic.twitter.com/v7lBrsIK3w

Its the same concept in this @Suns clip - set a low empty corner PNR & Hit & Hold. Notice how by having the screen LOW, it doesn't allow for the Nail defender to get involved in the action - thus keeping the play 2v1 vs Drop defender. pic.twitter.com/NHMYDRAFPq

If you have a stretch big - involving them in the screen vs 'Drop' coverage is a ready made 3. See this clip. You can also notice the 45 cut from the next offensive player (#5) removed from the 'popper' which stops any weakside defenders stunting vs the shooter. pic.twitter.com/MN1hSEJFIc

Here's another example of the 'Pick & Pop' + Cut. This time its out of 5 out spacing with the screener popping to the slot. Again the next offensive player removed from the popper cuts to the basket and gets a layup because his defender stunts at the shooter. pic.twitter.com/VGhWsnbpWk

When a screener pops out, it doesn't necessarily mean they have to shoot. What has been created is a ton of seperation between them & their defender (who is in the paint in the drop). Stack Pick and Roll actions are also really effective vs Drop coverage. See this clip from @EuroLeague team, @valenciabasket. We want the 'Drop' defender to always have his head on swivel (being worried about being screened) instead of being keyed in on the ball. pic.twitter.com/DnNdTOsSqo

Last clip: "Veer Pins" also hurt the 'Drop'. With the screener's D back in the paint, its a perfect time to get a shooter open. The Veer disguises the action so the D doesn't react and rush up to the screen. See here, screener's D is so far back he doesn't impact the shooter. pic.twitter.com/zotNDYVrsg
