Are you using the COVID-19 infectivity profile from He et al. Nat. Med. 2020? Take a look at our preprint for a major correction -> arxiv.org/abs/2007.06602 w/ @Jana_Huisman @sonjaklehtinen @JBouman7 @C_Althaus @sbonhoeffer
2020-07-15 16:40:51We found an error in calculation of the infectivity profile of nature.com/articles/s4159…, which unintentionally dropped data points
2020-07-15 16:40:51Correcting this error, we find a significantly different infectivity profile pic.twitter.com/C71BtAjeVY
2020-07-15 16:40:51We alerted @NatureMedicine on June 19th after discussion with the authors, but the original article is still online without correction
2020-07-15 16:40:52The incorrect profile is widely used by COVID-19 modellers. We use this unconventional channel to limit the propagation of this error. Please share widely
arxiv.org/abs/2007.06602 nature.com/articles/s4159… twitter.com/peter_ashcroft… pic.twitter.com/uVKTMV6q0M
つまりこれまでの接触者追跡で実は見逃されていた例が多かったことが示唆される pic.twitter.com/wlfXJEO5kN
97% pic.twitter.com/S2UoM1Cs5r
それにしてもウザ過ぎるなこのウイルス twitter.com/kenmomd/status…
twitter.com/morilyn1123/st…
nejm.org/doi/full/10.10… pic.twitter.com/QGdzJk8FvJ

2020-07-31 01:40:46I would not be that critical as Ashcroft and colleagues. Earlier in May I contacted the authors of Nat Med paper, and I was able to show the consistency of their results. My simulations for replication of He et al. can be found on github: github.com/aakhmetz/COVID… twitter.com/Peter_Ashcroft…

2020-07-15 21:55:28Our replication exercise does not support the claims of a recent preprint of Ashcroft et al, who argued that the infectiousness profile would be similar to a skewed normal distribution (~the gamma distribution with a fairly large shift) and the results of He et al are incorrect.
