F E A R is our protest album I met this man in Utrecht, Netherlands. Doctor, healer, metaphysician and philosopher, Gisbert Ouwejan. “Happiness is the Road” was about him. He introduced me to the idea that all human motives stem from Love or Fear. #timstwitterlisteningparty

オランダのユトレヒトで、ある人物と出会った。医者であり治癒者、形而上学者、哲学者でもあるGisbert Oujewanという男だ。"Happiness is the Road"は彼について歌ったものなんだ。「人間がもつあらゆる動機は愛、もしくは恐怖から生じる」という思想を僕はGisbertから教わった。

2020-10-11 01:32:54生きることの喜びを込めた牧歌的な抒情詩だ。塀に囲まれた我が家の庭では夏にラベンダーの中をミツバチや蝶が飛び回り戯れる。
その情景をテーマにちょっとした詩を書いてみて、訪れつつある嵐の予兆の前触れとして、この詩を楽曲のメイン部分の冒頭に据えたいと思ったんだ。

The groove that follows was all jammed at our studio The Racket Club. Lyrically it began “Come to break the heavy weather..” and everyone thought it was a cool way to begin, but I was arguing “WHAT has come to break the heavy weather?!” #timstwitterlisteningparty
