東京では毎晩、「終電ダッシュ」というイベントが各地で開催されています。 日中にはウォームアップとして、会社や学校への走り込みなどが行われています。　　　　　　　　　　　　決勝戦が行われるのは深夜0時頃。 終電後は電車が翌朝まで運行が停止されるため、真剣勝負です。 pic.twitter.com/p54SCOKyQt

勝負の行方は常に注目されています。 この試合に勝てば電車で帰宅できますが、負けてしまった選手はタクシーやカプセルホテルを使用するか、徒歩で帰宅しなければなりません。絶対に負けられない！

最近では、アルコールの販売が制限されているため、選手たちの集中力が高まり、スプリンターの多くは終電を待たずに帰宅しているようです。

Everyday in Tokyo an event called the “Dash for the Last Train” is held all over the city. Practice heats and warm ups can be seen throughout the day as athletes attempt to arrive on time for school, meetings and events. The finals are held somewhere around midnight. #tokyo2020

Tokyo is under a state of emergency and restaurants and bars have been banned from serving alcohol. I often see people buying cans of beer from convenience stores and passing them to one another -like athletes in a baton relay. Water would be the best way to stay hydrated though!
