I'll hate the current state of his comics, cartoons, and movies, but I just can't hate the character himself. None of this is really his fault and he (and all western media) could still be saved.

Not to mention that we can also pin the blame on Greed for manufactured hype, case in point being NFTs, a scam that really depends on this mentality to thrive.
