で、バイオエタノールだけど。ブラジルでサトウキビから製造しているバイオエタノールなら、EROIが7を超える。これなら、エネルギー的に黒字。けれど、ブラジルのバイオエタノール以外は、EROIが1を切っていたりする。

枯渇しなくても、掘るのに費やしたエネルギーよりたくさんのエネルギーが採れなければエネルギー的に赤字になり、経済的に意味をなさなくなります。EROIという指標が3を切るとエネルギー的に赤字になり、掘る価値のない石油となります。 twitter.com/shibajuku_wf/s…

Gail would need to buy more spot LNG shipments to help makeup the shortfall, but that would also be very expensive 🇮🇳 🚢 💰 LNG cargoes are trading in the $40s/mmbtu range in Asia — which would be a record high for India 💴 LNG cargoes via long term contracts are around $14

The situation is complicated 🇮🇳 ➡️ Gail has a long-term LNG purchase deal with a former Gazprom unit, which was recently seized by Germany ➡️ Now Moscow is blocking the unit from getting Russian LNG ➡️ And so LNG shipments can’t be delivered to Gail bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
