Obviously the Joker is probably transphobic, and only using her because of her skill and craziness, and there’s obviously a lot more to it than that (read Harleen) Their relationship was built on manipulation and abuse, something that many trans women are faced with today

@harls22sky My biggest problem with Harley is her toxic relationship with joker. I hate it. I know she's a psycho but constantly falling for someone who always goes Mike Tyson on you is a terrible thing

@champion029 They keep putting them back into stories together, harley is a victim of abuse and manipulation and it isn’t shown enough so people only see the abuse side and never the manipulation side

@harls22sky @Slasher_katz Joker is abusive, and he's a master manipulator. Personally, I think he's Asexual, and Harley's gender and sexuality don't matter to him at all, but he'd absolutely play on her dysphoria, anxiety, and self esteem. Conversely, Ivy would naturally validate her in general

もしハーレイがトランスなら、他のキャラクターのセクシュアリティも変える必要が出てくる。（ジョーカー、バットマン、ナイトウィング、ポイズン・アイビーなど）
ストーリーラインが変わってしまう。

@harls22sky Harley isn’t the type of character where you can just change something without having to change a whole lot more… if Harley is trans we’d have to change quite a few other characters sexualities also (Joker, Batman, Nightwing, Poison Ivy, etc.) which would change story lines
