商船三井の貨物船 MOL Comfort が二つに割れて漂流中

シンガポールから紅海沿岸・サウジアラビアのジッダ(ジェダ)に向かっていた商船三井のコンテナ船、MOL Comfort がオマーン沖のインド洋で難破、船体が前後に真っ二つになりました。不幸中の幸いというか、船体は沈没せずに23日現在もそれぞれ漂流しています。
17日に発生したそうで、発生から約一週間になります。
とりあえずはこの公式発表をご覧ください。
UAEのジュベル・アリから監視船が現地海域に向かっているほか、曳航船(tug)も3隻がそれぞれ向かっているそうです。
日本での第1報は17日の共同配信記事、その後は、商船三井からの公式発表以外では大きな話題にはなっていないようです。
