@garyshore81 Hello! How can Vlad walk in sunlight at the end of DU? What happened to him? #AskGaryShore

2015-03-07 03:01:51
Gary Shore @garyshore81

@SteffanieACL Haha... that was unintentional. We shot on a very sunny day, hoping it would be cloudy. Budget didn't allow for a night shoot

2015-03-07 03:06:17
Gary Shore @garyshore81

@SteffanieACL We were planning on making day look like night, which is a trick as old as film-making itself, but you need cloudy weather

Pat @FreePat62

@garyshore81 what was the one thing that decided to you choose to do this movie #AskGaryShore #DraculaUntold

2015-03-07 03:00:26
Gary Shore @garyshore81

@TPOTEfan I loved the original ending, so downbeat. It was also a chance to tell the story of one of history's most notorious anti-heroes.

Idontgiva Schitt @SteffanieACL

@garyshore81 What was the most embarrassing, funniest moment while shooting the movie? Any faux pas or accident? #AskGaryShore

2015-03-07 02:57:44
Gary Shore @garyshore81

@SteffanieACL It wasn't really that kind of film... I just remember being under pressure all the time to make my day. Few bones got broke...

2015-03-07 03:10:46
Gary Shore @garyshore81

@SteffanieACL ...and bruised but I don't think the people it happened to would have found it very funny!

2015-03-07 03:11:25
Idontgiva Schitt @SteffanieACL

@garyshore81 Did you have a clear vision of each scene or did you leave the actors some freedom for improvisation? #AskGaryShore

2015-03-07 02:55:29
Gary Shore @garyshore81

@SteffanieACL We talked about the scene before hand and made choices. When the camera rolled we had a very clear plan

Mia @MiaofXusia

@garyshore81 How much research did you do for DU? Travel to former Walachia? Read Bram Stoker's Dracula? #AskGaryShore

2015-03-07 02:49:49
Gary Shore @garyshore81

@MiaofXusia I traveled to Walachia before hand, read all the books I could on the real Vlad and any other relevant material on Dracula
