We're almost done at ServerlessConf Paris. Then it's a quick hop to Hamburg for JeffConf. Who's going? pic.twitter.com/tfmq1qr5OM

@braddwyer @jrhunt @Serverlessconf @AWS The way he did it was with a pre trained service called recognition you should check it out! I don’t see why you would want to train with lambda since the function only lives 5min. To train yourself use a gpu ec2

Live demo of finding most popular #npm module on GitHub in 82 sec with single SQL query including JS to parse package.json - no app code needed, just #BigQuery. Great talk by @bretmcg and @googlecloud dev! @ServerlessConf #serverless pic.twitter.com/ZDo5ppAi0Q

@IAMcloudblocks @jrhunt @Serverlessconf @AWS Yeh not for training but for scaling up models you’ve already trained. Rekognition is great if it’s got what you need baked in but not that flexible to expand into new domains.

@braddwyer @IAMcloudblocks @Serverlessconf @AWS For inferences lambda is amazing! That’s what my @WhereML bot uses currently (also can run in sagemaker)

@braddwyer @IAMcloudblocks @Serverlessconf @AWS @WhereML Pro tips for Lambda inferences: Load models over ~5mb from s3 into /tmp on the lambda (do this outside of the event handler)

How do you train over 500.000 cloud developers without running a single server?! The answer to that was found by @acloudguru presented @Serverlessconf pic.twitter.com/aYnRUHJuZK
