上3つ、フランス語なので全然わからないわぁ〜、とほほ...と思っていたら...

It's a ballet we've been working on for 3 years.
It was Brigitte Lefevre's idea.

Christian Lacroix:
My childhood dream was to have a time machine. It's like I've been transported back to 1866 to be the costume designer creating these pieces for the very first time with all of the sumptuousness of the 19th Century. That's what I like.
　
Swarovski and La Source - what a beautiful chemistry! Everything which is iridescent helps to prolong the movement of colour. There is the magic of light and of theatre.
　

Xavier Ronze - Chef du Service Couture Garnier:
We made 130 costumes for this production. The costumes are very important to the dancer. They are there to accompany the dancer, not to get in the way or distract. and sometimes to reassure and inspire. They are there to enhance the character. This is essential, this is very important.
　
Christian Lacroix:
This morning I took a lot of time with Isabelle, because she has such a strong character and I wanted her personality to be expressed through the costume as well. I want her to not only feel good in the costume but also to help her be her character.
　
Xavier Ronze:
We want to make sure that the choreographer is happy with the costumes, that the designer is happy with what has been made, and that the dancers are all happy with their costumes, then we are happy too!
　

Christian Lacroix:
I've never considered myself a classic haute couture designer. However, I've always based my work on theatrical history. I've always designed couture that was very choreographed, operatic and theatrical.
　
Isabelle Ciaravola - Danseuse Etoile:
We have wonderful costumes. I sincerely think that everything we wear on our heads, on our necks, everywhere - will make us shine like a million little fires.
　
Xavier Ronze:
It is quite exceptional to have so much jewelry and to use all of these beautiful baroque-style crystals.
　
Christian Lacroix:
I am so happy to be able to use these elements which really bring out the honorable, magical and legendary side of the story. I was like a child in a sweet shop - I wanted every thing.
　
Brigitte Lefevre:
There is the source of light, the source of beauty, the source of truth, you can say everything with the word 'source' !
　
Christian Lacroix:
Swarovski has this incredible tradition of crystal which has its roots in tradition and the past, but they are also always looking to innovate in order to be effective in the future. It is a pleasure to be able to bring this to the stage and the public.
