ガーナの場合、伝統首長は政治への関与が法律で明確に禁じられていて政治家になれないので、たいてい別の仕事を持ってます。公務員になったりサラリーマンになって首都で働き、休みの日に伝統首長としての公務を果たす人はいっぱいいますが、たまにこの記事みたいな海外居住もいますね
