Honestly, with how much he puts into his performances, totally obsessing over every detail, I can understand how it’d be difficult to balance life with that. The way he utterly throws his heart and soul into everything too fully is why I love him but I just am so empty rn

When skaters retire, is heart wrenching, but othe lovely skaters come along behind them. But every once in a while, a skater leaves a hole that can’t be filled by others. Machida left a fucking chasm and no one can do what he’s done.
