Utter devastation at Rikuzentakata #陸前高田市. An elementary school and apartment block left as eerie reminders of the 2011 #tsunami Could still see clothes on hangers and various furniture in the apartments. #GeohazardsNCP18 @scienceANU @anuearthscience @ANU_CPAS pic.twitter.com/3l1qcMYrGL

Finally got to see one after doing a project on it in high school! This is a tsunami evacuation cube that you can hide in should you not have time to run to higher ground! Good idea for big flood plains with no nearby hills! #GeohazardsNCP18 @scienceANU @anuearthscience @ANU_CPAS pic.twitter.com/Xuh1VMDAbT

Impressed by the tsunami warning communication in the affected area of Takata-matsubara. A wide variety of languages and diagrams means everyone can make sense of the evacuation plan 👍🏻 #efficiency #safety #geohazardsNCP18 @ANU_CPAS @NewColomboPlan pic.twitter.com/6rax89mLgl
