Finally got to see one after doing a project on it in high school!This is a tsunami evacuation cube that you can hide in should you not have time to run to higher ground! 北上して陸前高田へ。「#奇跡の一本松(the Miracle Pine Tree)」は以前ここにあった7万本もの松林の中で、唯一2011年の津波に耐え残った木。保存のため化学処理され、上部には避雷針も。周囲に観光用ベンチやカフェまで整備されているのに驚きました @ANU_CPAS @anuearthscience #GeohazardsNCP18 pic.twitter.com/bgFLoGNCQF
