A frequent flyer levy is so such a good and obvious policy. A tiny % of people are taking a massive % of flights and contributing a massive amount to GHG emissions. It is only right they should pay more and face economic disincentives. twitter.com/CarolineLucas/…

「もうガソリン車に乗る気はない、ビートルEV」静かでスムーズな走り EVは走行中にCO2を排出しないのが特徴だがそれだけではない。最大の魅力は操縦性能のすばらしさ。アクセルを踏み込んだ時のレスポンスが非常に速い。ガソリン車は応答遅れがあるが、EVの方はすぐに回転が上がる。 村沢さん。

北米の高速鉄道計画は浮かんでは消えての繰り返しだが。このバンクーバー・シアトル・ポートランドの高速鉄道計画はまだ動いていて、事前調査の結果が発表された。バンクーバーからシアトルまで一時間、ポートランドまで二時間で到着。工事費は3〜5兆円程度。できたらいいね。 biv.com/article/2019/0…

先進国の中で高速鉄道がない国って北米くらいじゃないか。だから飛行機と比較した利便性もわかっていないだろうし、成功例が一つでもできれば先入観が変わるかもしれない。鉄道なんていうあんなオールドテクノロジーとか本気で言う人が多い国だから。
