Next time someone tells you they’ve ‘heard enough’ about the climate and ecological emergency, ask them if they’d have said that about WW2 in 1940. This is >the< defining cause, the emergency, of our times. We need a WW2 mobilisation, if we are to survive it. Please RT to agree!

2019-09-10 02:21:38こちらは一つ上に対する反論。クライメットフィードバック ”XRのロジャーハラムが気候変動は2100年までに60億人を殺すと予測したことは支持しない”
フェイスブック上で一つ上のリンクを紹介するとこの反論へのリンクが自動的に付きました。
この応答は、IPCC第5次報告書の予測の中で2100年までにそれほどの生産量減少は見込まれない、＝「論文がない」ことに依拠しています。
しかし、
１．社会科学が「地球温暖化戦争」を完璧に予測できるかどうかは不安です。
２．これまでの農業生産の未来とは、100億人のために温帯、亜寒帯の土地を全て食糧生産に費やす、という未来でしょうが、それが第六の大量絶滅を引き起こすことは必定で、その方向は変えなければならない、というのが今年のIPBESの統合報告書やIPCCランド特別報告書から出てくる”Tranformative Chnage”論でしょう。こちらは回答に反映されているようには見えません。
