So, what are @Shell’s intensity-based emission reduction targets based on? The (massively improbable) assumption is Shell can scale-up carbon capture and storage and offsets by 25 and 120 million tonnes a year, respectively (Here's Greta's take on that: twitter.com/GretaThunberg/…)

In fact, not only does @Shell not have 2030 absolute emissions reduction goals (or 2040 goals for that matter), Shell will *increase* its gas production to reach over half of its business in 2030. Plus, petrochemicals are excluded from the company’s climate plan.

@Shell hasn’t announced absolute emission reduction goals for 2030. Not to mention any goals in line with the drastic declines recommended by the @IPCC_CH (which are 25-45% by 2030, compared to 2018 levels).
