@Vilhei10 @NavyLookout Militarliy, how? Japan does not even have an official army, and the Self-Defense Forces are far away from conducting any military operations. Economically, though, they could definitely react harshly.

@tengrikhagan @Vilhei10 @NavyLookout The only thing stopping the JSDF is their national constitution, which forbids war. It's amazing how many people overlook/underestimate the military prowess of modern day Japan.

And all these not counting the fact that any confrontation with Japan would involve the US as there are treaty obligations.
