ロイター記事への追加：ベン・アリ大統領は演説の中で「私は政府高官に騙されていた」と主張。こりゃだめだ、と思いました。ベン・アリの一族がことごとくチュニジアの政治と経済を牛耳っており、「マフィア国家」とも呼ばれている状態です。大統領の演説は時間稼ぎだと思います。

人間の本性というのか、一種の普遍的なパターンですが、独裁者や抑圧的な権力者が権力を失いそうになると「被害者は自分」と開き直る傾向が見られます。詐欺の手法にも似ている。
