- Yasu was originally supposed to be a more tough criminal type of character, but he scrapped it because it felt like "too much". - His games are called "sound novels" because he wanted to combine the visual and especially auditory experiences of manga and anime into VNs.

- He was inspired to write Higurashi because of a 1994 Super Famicom game called Banshee's Last Cry (かまいたちの夜), which actually got an official English port in 2014! - Also, he is REALLY into Girls und Panzer. Yeah.

捕捉させて頂くと、「うみねこ咲」は「ひぐらし奉」のようなオールインパックとなります。うみねこ、うみねこ散、翼、羽までの旧ソフトがDisc1、新規エピソードなどがDisc2のようなイメージです。（Disc枚数などは未定） 画像の戦人は、描き下ろしジャケットの一部です。
