そもそも、検査しても結果が出るのに時間がかかっており、感染拡大につれて検査リソースも不足しつつある。この状況に陥っているのは、そもそも、政権がちゃんと対応しなかったから。しかも、検査結果がすぐに出ないため、陽性確定数日以内に投与すべき薬の臨床試験もうまく行ってないらしい。

また、トランプがすぐに「特効薬」だの根拠のないことを吹聴するため、実際にそのような薬の臨床試験を行なうにあたり、「そんなに効果あるなら自分はその薬が欲しい」と、プラセボグループに入る可能性を望まない人が多すぎて、まともな臨床試験もできない、と昨日NPRラジオで話してた。

しかし、もはや、CDCが検査ガイドラインを強化したからと言って、どこまで強制力があるか微妙。初期の頃のようにCDCでしか検査できないわけではないし。特に、今、学校再開している大学で集団感染発生しているし、対面授業再開対策として独自の検査基準を設定している大学もあるしな。

それに、職場での感染防止対策としては、家族に感染者が出た人らには検査を受けてもらい、陰性だと確認する必要などもあるだろうし、大体、これまで検査しろと言われてた人々が、突然、やっぱ検査しなくてもいいと言われて納得すると思えん。
