The #GreatBarrierReef has ~1.1 million hectares of coral reef habitat at depths of 1-20m. To protect it, we need to reduce the primary cause of coral mortality, namely anthropogenic heating due to greenhouse gas pollution. Planting a few coral fragments is a distraction. pic.twitter.com/UWqxoye4ZT
