Metro Transit says no light rail service north of Franklin and west of Stadium Village because of a derailment at Warehouse/Hennepin. If you’re at Franklin and need to get Downtown, take the 9 or the 22. At Stadium Village, take the 6 and transfer to the 3 at 15th or Washington.

My phone died but they were able to move the train to Hennepin and were last seen inspecting switches. TIL these LRVs have a battery.

Looks like a Green Line train derailed in July 2021 after being involved in a car crash. That was reported to the FTA. Interestingly, the 2017 incident was *not* reported to the FTA.

Police later updated that the LRT struck a jersey barrier and they're trying to figure out how it got on the track.
