I watched a video from @TheQuartering earlier today where he was talking about an app called Veebs, I decided to check out the article since a few companies I didn't expect were on a "List of 2023's Most 'Woke' Companies", one being Campbell's. I decided to google "Campbell's DEI ad" to see if they did something similar to Dove or Gillette, and fell down a weird rabbit hole. newsweek.com/list-2023s-mos… I was flooded with articles about Cambell's different DEI initiatives but several headlines jumped out at me. One being this archived link below archive.is/6x8lc#selectio… I felt like I followed the news cycle decently close and I had never heard of a coalition of CEOs, CFOs, and diversity officers named Bridge. Of course, curious, I looked up what Bridge is I could not discern an establishing date for this Bridge, however there's an article from AdAge talking about how they got funding in April of 2022 archive.is/BwXj2#selectio…

In searching a bit further it appears there is a parent group, also called Bridge, that was established in 2021 socialimpact.com/bridge/ and this Bridge mentions a "Bridge 2.0" initiative The date stated in the parent Bridge's website for Bridge 2.0 is June 2023, which lines up with another article from PRNewswire published in August 2023 about Bridge's plans for changing DEI and their Inclusion Maturity Assessment and Capability Building Program--or IMAX prnewswire.com/news-releases/… In the above article they state- "The program reveals 72 business practices across 5 dimensions of the workplace and marketplace and measures inclusion maturity at both the brand and company level, giving leaders a concrete assessment of where the gaps exist, a process to prioritize the gaps and the capabilities required to bridge the gaps. IMAX is currently being piloted by Campbell's, Sephora and others." and this graph is included Here's a link to the Bridge 2.0 initiative website wearebridge.com Per their words; BRIDGE is an acronym for Belonging, Representation, Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity while the G is the Gap they need to BRIDGE with all of the aforementioned. Further inspecting uncovers this article where the founder of Bridge 2.0, Sheryl Daija, says “We are trying to change the narrative of DE&I from a philosophy, or even a moral imperative - which obviously it is but that hasn't gotten us to where we need to go - to figure out how we operationalize inclusion as a business practice,” thedrum.com/news/2023/03/1… and this finally led me to a youtube channel, and a video with Daija herself that only had 38 views at the time of finding, where they use a lot of language that should be concerning to anyone listening to it youtube.com/watch?v=3FToVo… Considering the timeline here, having the 2.0 initiative set up in March through June 2023, releasing their roadmap and framework in August 2023, I don't think there's any reason to assume Bud Light issued any real apology or there's any reason to "let up" on the boycotts and show them we're willing to let bygones be bygones. If this Bridge initiative is anything to go by, things are just getting started and they're about to ramp way up as far as DEI initiatives and outlandish rhetoric go.

I'm just an anime fox woman on the internet, so I would like to see some of the dudes I watch who likely know more than me on media and politics, look into this themselves and maybe be able to talk about the new expanded DEI being pushed in a more robust manner @Timcast @MattWalshBlog @Sargon_of_Akkad @realchrisrufo @RAZ0RFIST Thanks again to The Quartering for launching me down this rabbit hole, and I hope more people become aware of this 👌
