It’s just so shameful to know that France’s “prestigious” Poetry Market has cancelled Palestine’s status as a guest of honor in their 2025 season. The decision to have Palestinian poets as guests of honor was announced in 2022, thanks to the efforts of the great Moroccan poet Abdellatif Laabi. This is truly a great loss for poetry.
