11. 日本政府は、関連省庁の協力のもと、特別報告者の要求と普遍的定期審査の第二次サイクルで日本政府に提示された勧告事項を考慮しながら、訪問が成功し意義のあるものとなるよう最大限の努力をした。

12. Since the Great East Japan Earthquake of March 2011, the Government of Japan has made earthquake recovery a priority issue.

17. international standards. 2011年の東日本大震災以降、日本政府は地震からの復興を優先事項として扱ってきた。復興基本法に基づき、日本政府は迅速な復興を実現するため、最大限の努力を費やした。

18. 加えて、政府は福島第一原発の状況の影響を受けた人々の健康管理が非常に重要であると認識している。この点において、政府は医療専門家や、国際的基準の最新の調査結果を尊重しつつ、被災者の健康管理に取り組んでいる。

19. Japan recognizes that the Special Rapporteur has commended Japan's efforts to a certain extent.

20. However, during the drafting of the report, Japan provided comments to clarify misunderstandings of the facts from

21. from scientific or legal viewpoints. Yet there remain areas of the report in which our explanations are not accurately reflected,

22. so I would like to once again explain the steps Japan is taking. 日本政府は、特別報告者が日本の努力をある程度評価していると認識している。

23. しかし、報告書のドラフト段階で、日本政府は科学的、もしくは法律的観点から、事実誤認を明確にするためにコメントを提供してきた。それにもかかわらず、我々の説明が正確に反映されていない箇所が報告書に見受けられるため、再度日本政府の取り組みをご説明申し上げたい。
