As of last night, I have seen #ShinGodzilla twice in a row. This film has had me simmer my thoughts because there was a lot to process.

Let me start off by saying #ShinGodzilla is in a lot of ways a very unorthodox film. It's both strange yet familiar. And it's a great reboot

#ShinGodzilla is shot creatively & beautifully. There's a lot of different shots that make it unique from previous films in the franchise.

The characters surprisingly also bring a lot of life to #ShinGodzilla. The actors are for the most part convincing. At times genuinly funny.

Ishihara literally had to crash course through English with the part she was given in #ShinGodzilla. She did her absolute best.

Either Ishihara was more marketable or Toho couldn't get a Japanese-American actress for #ShinGodzilla. But I don't know. It's what it is.
