2020-02-20 19:18:4221/ IWATA: Everything's messed up inside the #DiamondPrincess. There are no proper zonings (red/green). It's hardly recognizable where is dangerous or virus-free. TAKA: In fact, zoning has been done "properly", indeed not perfect. It is extremely complicated to carry out...

2020-02-20 19:19:4923/ ...he is the Executive Director of an international NGO, but Dr Takayama thinks it is unavoidable to start such kind of operation/mission, no matter which NGOs or international institutions, to start operations from the chaotic situation. Dr Takayama is not saying that..
2020-02-20 19:20:0624/ ...there was nothing to be regretted, however, people who are working inside the ship have been tremendously diligently putting their entire efforts into overcoming this situation. IWATA: Some patients were passing us when I was walking with quarantine officers. (continue)
2020-02-20 19:20:3125/ TAKA: It is obviously a misunderstanding. There is no line/passway allowing this situation to happen. What Dr Iwata saw was NOT a patient but a passenger. But, even what he saw were a passenger, it would be very rare to happen. (continue)
2020-02-20 19:21:0826/ IWATA: There'll be no professionals who can deal with infection control hereafter if Dr Iwata is out off the Diamond Princess. TAKA: It is wrong. Every single day, doctors who are specialized in infectious diseases and public health are on the #DiamondPrincess. (continue)
2020-02-20 19:21:5627/ TAKA: Dr Iwata didn't know this fact. IWATA: Sierra Leone was much better than the Diamond Princess. TAKA: What Dr Iwata is saying is about the medical centre(s) operated by advanced countries in Sierra Leone. (continue)
2020-02-20 19:22:5728/ TAKA: Do not equate the #DiamondPrincess with the municipal hospitals in the poorest countries with disastrous infection control management. IWATA: EpidemicCurve was not at all recorded. TAKA: It is wrong. Japan National Institute of Infectious Diseases has openly...
2020-02-20 19:23:1729/ ... shared EpidemicCurve data. They will shortly update the latest attached with new reports. TAKA: I don't intend to deny Dr Iwata's passion/spirit. Dr Iwata's pointing out should be scrutinized and examined, then make the most of it, as a lesson, to improve...

2020-02-20 19:24:2331/ Again, all MEDIA people, cross-check Dr Takayama's FACEBOOK. Ask interpreter(s) if you cannot read Japanese. m.facebook.com/story.php?stor… You, media, are NOT inside the ship, and you should be open to as many voices as you can. (continue)
2020-02-20 19:24:5432/ Do NOT report one-sided perspective. Listen to the other side of the opinions. I, personally, think that we should accept and adopt beneficial criticisms and refute against unproductive useless Anti-Japan campaigns in a smart and dynamic manner as always. (continue)
2020-02-20 19:25:2733/ Plus, those who come to me (even my followers), saying that "don't listen to Iwata" is actually dangerously BIASED. Indeed Dr Iwata's way, which he had suddenly started preaching people inside the #DiamondPrincess without building up mutual trust relation, messed up...
2020-02-20 19:26:0534/ ... motivation amongst people there and brought confusion and backlash, however, there are certainly advantageous points that we should adopt. In fact, our proud SDF personnel on board are being provided with better protective clothing. (continue)

2020-02-20 19:47:52@lHijnJASc96nCSL This rough translation is not being shared by overseas media. And, Dr Takayama didn't write in English. The DMAT chief, I think, wanted to kick him out as Dr Iwata seems to have been not cooperative (you can easily imagine how he acted inside the ship).
