@DrKevinGray And at the end of the war, only 249 Koreans were drafted by the Japanese government and were in Japan as wartime laborers, all of whom returned to Korea after the war.

@DrKevinGray In the first place, the plaintiffs in this trial were not those who were mobilized for wartime employment for 7 months before the war ended, but those who were employed by Japanese Companies and worked in Japan "Before wartime employment began".

@DrKevinGray The Japanese government had already paid the Soutg Korean government in 1965 the unpaid salaries around the war-end and compensation for the wartime workers mobilized by the Japanese government. This was merely the South Korean government's solution to a domestic issue.
