@cristanwilliams In Japanese public bathhouses, an unspecified number of people bathe naked in the same bathtub. Normally, the baths are divided into men's and women's baths (although in rare cases there are mixed baths), with men taking the men's baths and women taking the women's baths.

@cristanwilliams I personally am against unoperated trans women entering women's baths. There are two reasons. (1) Because it is difficult to distinguish between trans women and cis men dressed as women. (2) Because it would take away the place of women who have a fear of male genitalia.

@KatzePotatoes I think your questions would be better directed at Japan’s trans & intersex communities. How do Japanese intersex and trans people feel about the fact that some cis people believe that should some cis people want places to be cis-only, trans & intersex bodies should be banned.
