Let me clarify. I’m not opposed to your particular fetish. There’s an appropriate place for erotic material of all kinds. The issue is that eroticization of women occurs EVERYWHERE - including places where it’s inappropriate. Like, you know, a fucking BLOOD DRIVE CAMPAIGN.

@UnseenJapanSite @JRCS_PR Ever had a blood transfusion? Or had a family member who had one in the process of saving their life? I don’t think it is too extreme if people come in to donate blood, and that saves lives. Try searching “宇崎ちゃん” and see all the people who donated and were happy to do so.

@UnseenJapanSite @JRCS_PR Not really. You are. If you look at the Japanese who have gone in and donated to get Uzekichan goods, you’ll realize it’s an effective campaign. You are offended at the character, how it’s drawn. Go donate blood so they’ll stop the campaign faster then!

The sad thing is, I found this ad simply walking through Shinjuku Station on the way to have lunch w my family. That should give you pause to think about how rampant sexism is in Japanese society.
